NOK 2.1 billion for repairs

The total turnover for enterprises within repair of computers and personal household goods increased by 1 per cent, or NOK 2.1 billion in 2010.

The number of enterprises decreased by 1.7 per cent to a total of 1 260. The number of persons employed was 2 534; a decrease of 0.9 per cent compared to 2009.

Growth within other personal service activities

The enterprises within other personal service activities that operate within the areas washing and dry cleaning, hairdressing and other beauty treatment and funeral services had a total turnover of NOK 12.5 billion in 2010; an increase of 6.2 per cent.

Preliminary figures

Preliminary figures for structural business statistics are only published on enterprise level. The data are not as thoroughly revised as they will be when the final figures are published in 18 months.
