How to import our tables into Excel

In Internet Explorer 8 and Opera copy/paste work as expected.

In newer versions of Excel (2003/2007) and IE 6/7 just right-click on the table and choose import to Excel.

In all Excel versions: Please add an "xls/" in the middle of the url, after "www.ssb.no/". If you want to convert this table: http://www.ssb.no/kpi_en/tab-01-en.html, please add /xls to the middle of the url: http://www.ssb.no/xls/kpi_en/tab-01-en.html
We recommend that you start Excel and paste the modified address after choosing File -> Open.

The standard symbol in our tables for 0 is -. This can create problems, but it is possible to replace this in Excel. To do this tick the box "Find entire cells only".

Fonts

The standard table font is Trebuchet, which can be downloaded here: Trebuchet for Windows, Trebuchet for Mac, Truetype [zip]
