Drop in wholesale industries

The seasonally-adjusted sales index of wholesale industries shows a decrease of 2.1 per cent from the 2nd quarter to the 3rd quarter of 2014. The turnover in the 3rd quarter of 2014 was 1.3 per cent higher than the year before.

Trade and repair of motor vehicles had an increase in turnover of 0.5 per cent from the 2nd quarter to the 3rd quarter of 2014, according to preliminary seasonally-adjusted figures. Compared to the 3rd quarter last year, there was a growth in turnover of 3.9 per cent this year.
