Continued growth in guest nights

The number of guest nights in Norwegian hotels increased by 2 per cent in October this year compared with October 2015.

There were 4 per cent more foreign guest nights in Norwegian hotels in October 2016. Norwegian guest nights went up 1 per cent to 1.3 million.

Lodging revenue for Norwegian hotels decreased by 2 per cent from NOK 1 121 million in October 2015 to NOK 1 103 million in October 2016.

The number of guest nights in Norwegian accommodation establishments reached a total of 2.03 million in October 2016. This is an increase of 2 per cent compared with October 2015.
