All-time high hotel guest nights

The number of guest nights in Norwegian hotels increased by 662 000 or 9 per cent in June, July and August this year. Lodging revenue for Norwegian hotels went up 5 per cent from NOK 1 314 million in August 2014 to NOK 1 385 million in August this year.

The number of guest nights in Norwegian accommodation establishments reached 4.3 million in August 2015. This is an increase of 222 000 guest nights or 5.5 per cent compared with August 2014. Foreign residents contributed 124 0001 or 8.81 per cent more guest nights this August.
