Continued growth in guest nights

The number of guest nights in Norwegian accommodation establishments reached 2.6 million in May 2015. This is an increase of 79 000 guest nights or 3.2 per cent compared with May 2014. Foreign residents contributed 49 000 or 62 per cent more guest nights this May. Lodging revenue for Norwegian hotels went up 0.4 per cent from NOK 1085 million in May 2014 to NOK 1 089 million in May this year.
