A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.
Navigating with keyboard and screenreader. Select multiple object in row: SHIFT+arrow down/up. To select a single value in the listbox: Windows:Hold Ctrl + arrow down. Then release Ctrl and press space. Repeat. Mac:CMD+arrow down/up. Then release CMD and press spacebar. Repeat. (Works only in Chrome, not in Safari). To exit listbox with values selected, press TAB-key.

Table 08864 has 15 August 2025 been revised with figures going back to 2011. This is due to errors in the figures for exported cubic meters of natural gas in gaseous form, which in turn affect certain other series. In addition, a methodological change has been implemented that affects historic figures
For more information, see About the statistics. When publishing statistics for a new month of measurement, figures for the previous months in the same year are also revised. Furthermore, the figures for all months of the year are revised twice more: First time in May the following year (year t + 1), before final figures are published in May one year later (year t + 2). Figures for natural gass, selected export commodities, are for natural gas in gaseous state only (HS 27.11.2100).
