The data on education in this table is updated when new information is available. The reference date for information on education is 1st October each year, and the figures are available during June of the following year. This means that when the figures for the 2nd quarter are published in August, the two previous quarters (1st and 4th quarter) are updated with new information on education. An example: In August 2023, education as of 1 October 2022 is published for the 2nd quarter of 2023. At the same time, the information on education in the 1st quarter of 2023 and the 4th quarter of 2022 is updated. Until August 2023, the information on education for those quarters will be from 1 October 2021.

status in labour force flows

How to interpret the value 'Identical jobs (employments)': Identical jobs are jobs where the same person is in the same establishment in the previous and current period. This means that when you look at the number of jobs, the number will be the same in the previous and current period. While the variables for earnings will show the average earnings in the previous and current period respectively, and you can see how much the earnings have changed for those in the same job. To avoid that the number of jobs change when you look at identical jobs distributed on the various variables, the jobs are grouped by the values of the classification variables in the current period. In other words, identical jobs which change the value of one or more of the classification variables over the relevant year will be included in the same groups in both 'Previous period' and 'Current period' in this table. Note that the 'All Jobs (Employments)' category in 'Previous Period' is not adjusted based on the potentially changed number of identical jobs. The figures for this category for a given group are thus the same as when the current period is selected, and the same figures that are availeble in other tables.

type of period

How to interpret the combination of 'Status in labour force flows' and 'Type of period': The statuses that begins with 'Terminated hirings/new hirings (...)' combined with the period type 'Previous period' says how many terminated hirings there have been from the previous to the current period for a combination of variables. The statuses that begins with 'Terminated hirings/new hirings (...)' combined with the period type 'Current period' says how many new hirings there have been from the previous to the current period for a combination of variables. The current period in this table is the same as the period you have chosen under 'Quarter', while the previous period is the same quarter of the previous year.
