Now you have come to the page, Choose variable. This page give you the oportunity to select which variables and values you want to display in your result of the table. A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.

Average basic monthly earnings and average monthly earnings are published in Norwegian NOK and rounded off to the nearest ten. Earnings are published both in the number of employments and earnings statistics and the yearly earnings statistics. All 1s and 2s have been replaced by 0 or 3 in order to meet privacy requirement. When the figures are aggregated to a higher regional level, the sum may differ slightly from the actual figure.
