All 1s and 2s have been replaced by 0 or 3 in order to meet privacy requirement. As from 2015, the statistics are based on new data sources (a-ordningen), see further details in «About the statistics». The total number of employed persons is no longer coordinated with the Labour Force Survey (LFS) as before 2015, and does not correspond any more with LFS's total number of employed. The figures for 2015 and onwards are therefore not comparable with the figures for previous years. For more information, see the article linked to the 2015-figures: http://www.ssb.no/en/arbeid-og-lonn/statistikker/regsys/aar/2016-05-27 Establishments in the industrial classification 09.1 Support activities for petroleum and natural gas extraction, and some other industries, are given a land code from the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities, even where operations are carried out on the Norwegian continental shelf. Previously, establishments that Statistics Norway considered to be on the continental shelf were given a new code. However, this procedure has been discontinued. This means that many jobs that were previously registered under the Norwegian continental shelf are now considered to be on the Norwegian mainland as from the fourth quarter of 2018. This has further led to an artificial decrease in the number of employed persons on the Norwegian continental shelf and a corresponding artificial increase in other counties in fourth quarter of 2018 and 2019, mainly in Rogaland. Central government includes the central government and the social security administration. Health enterprises are included.
Municipal and County municipal government (The Municipal Government) includes municipal and county municipal government. Consists of establishments that are not business oriented, ie road, school, culture etc.
The private sector includes those that are not included in The Central or Municipal government, i.e. private business activities except publicly controlled companies.
Public companies includes companies that are not part of the central or municipal government, but which are publicly controlled companies. This applies to the central government enterprises as well as companies where the public control more than 50 per cent of the share capital.
All 1s and 2s have been replaced by 0 or 3 in order to meet privacy requirement. When the figures are aggregated to a higher regional level, the sum may differ slightly from the actual figure.
