Employed persons at work and actual working hours (hours per week) do not include those who were temporarily absent from work the whole reference week. Parents, number of children under the age of 18 and age of the youngest children are defined on the basis of information from the Population Register as of 1 January after the statistics year. Parents are defined as persons who are not themselves defined as children in the family (ie family reference person or his/hers partner) and registered in a family where there are also registered at least one child under the age of 18.
