Due to changes in the survey the movement of units between different sectors, the figures are not always directly comparable across years.
Business Enterprise sector includes enterprises with at least 10 employees. Figures for R&D personnel in 2020 and R&D full-time equivalents in 2021 for higher education sector and all sectors were corrected on 11.05.2023.
The index used for calculating R&D expenditures in fixed prices is preliminary for the last two years. Due to this, figures for previous years may change when the statistic is updated.
