This causes holdings of securities between some countries to interchange from 2011 to 2012. This affects only the sector general government. The statistics for the years 2012-2017 has now been corrected from previously published figures. Portfolio investment abroad have expanded the use of VPS. This causes a new scope in holdings for the non-financial corporations sector from 2019 onwards.
