PX-MAP
PX-Map is a tool for presenting statistics in thematic maps (Click the figure for enlargement of the picture):
PX-Map is developed for integrated use in PC-AXIS. In addition PX-Map can run as a standalone map-program. PX-Map has possibillities to :
- make choropleth- or symbolmaps
- make a quick overview of great amounts of data
- make instructive and apetizing map presentations
Standard Windows-functions like "cut and paste" are available and this makes it simple to insert ready-made maps in other Windows-based text-, draw- og presentation-programs.
PX-Map Software
PX-Map is available in version 1.0 for Windows 95/NT/2000/ME, and the software is free of charge. PX-Map includes data-examples (both statistics and coordinate map-data) in addition to the main map-program.
This is a map basis that may be freely used together with PX-Map, but remember to state source: Norwegian Mapping Authority

Additionally there is made a reduced version of the installation-program, for machines that already have the standard modules MDAC (version 2.5 or higher) and BDE (version 5.11 or higher) installed. The installation-program checks whether or not these modules are installed.
