2011 was an important year for Statistics Norway with the first register-based population and housing census in Norway, holding of the municipal and county election and a new Director General. The indicators describing ongoing activities were largely in line with the objectives set out in the ministerial Letter of Instruction, and the accounts show a good result for the year.
