The turnover in the recovery of sorted materials was NOK 1.5 billion in September and October 2012. This is a decrease of 4.7 per cent compared with the corresponding period in 2011.

Companies that are engaged in the collection of non-hazardous waste had a turnover of NOK 1.6 billion in September and October 2012; a decrease of 0.1 per cent compared with the corresponding period in 2011.

Notable increases in two other industry sub-classes explain the total increase.
