About Nils Martin Stølen

At present I am Senior Researcher at the Unit for Public Economics. My main research is on projects analysing effects on public finance from demographic development and pension reforms in Norway. A significant part of these analyses are done by using the dynamic micro simulation model MOSART. I also take part in projections of supply and demand for labour by different education. In addition to several years as Director of research for analyses on public economics based on microdata, I have earlier experience in analyses of macroeconomic development, labour market, wage formation, taxes and regional economics.
