About Marit Rønsen

Marit Rønsen is a Senior Reseacher in the Division for Social and Demographic Research. Her main research interests are within the fields of fertility, labour supply, family welfare, family policies and gender equality. She has chaired several research projects in this area including evaluations of family- and welfare policy reforms.

Ongoing projects:

  • FAMGEN - Changing families and the gender revolution
  • FAMDYN - Family dynamics, fertility choices and family policy
  • Determinants of recent fertility trends
  • Status of knowledge, fertility and marriage/cohabitation

Recently finished projects:

  • Entrepreneurship in Norway: Dynamics, barriers and outcomes
  • Mobilizing unutilised labour reserves: the role of part-time work and extended employment interruptions
