Continued decline in results
The operating result for listed companies was NOK 53 billion in the fourth quarter of 2012. This was a decline of 22 per cent from the same quarter the year before and 0.9 per cent from the previous quarter of 2012.

The operating result before tax for the last quarter of 2012 was about NOK 52 billion. This was a decline of 18 per cent compared to the fourth quarter of 2011 and 7 per cent in relation to the third quarter of 2012
About 42 per cent of listed enterprises had a deficit before tax in the fourth quarter of 20012 compared to 52 per cent in the corresponding quarter of 2011.
