Please note that demergers and reorganisations of large companies, where parts of the activities are separated, may cause a change in the industrial code of enterprises that are part of these companies. Some companies have employees whose place of work varies (i.e. construction, transport and provision of personnel). These employees will be registered on a branch- or head office, and thus not necessarily in the municipality they worked as of November 2000. Because of this, more employees will be registered in larger cities.
